The two paintings of the Santa Barbara Court House were done in 2006 while part of the Randy Sexton workshop which lasted for a whole week. We created works downtown and then out to the beach and then to the harbor. Randy has a unique style which I do appreciate. He did inspire fast Plein Air works during the week. His style is to create a water color approach followed by the application of some heavy paint applications which gives a very pleasing result.

I only use Winsor & Newton Artest' Oils now in my work. Most of my paintings are on 8 x 10 Ray Mar panels.
